eesmal, best known for his collaboration with FRKY, RUN, is an up-and-coming EDM producer and DJ from New York. Having releases under his belt with Nightcore, Bass Music Records, and Frostfall Records, and more songs on the way, eesmal is poised to create something special. RUN, reaching over 20,000 streams in a week has paved the way for him to step out of his comfort zone and into the spotlight. Starting his career in 2022 in the pop music space with songs like Destiny and Technoblade Shall Survive, the progression in eesmal’s music is astonishing. First signing Burn to Bass Music Records in February of 2024, his progression started off slow. Not signing with another label for over 6 months, independent releases like Deep, New Heights and Undercover all seemed to flop.
eesmal released his first album in December of 2024, titled BSBL.The album was indubitably a flop on streaming services, with no songs garnering over 400 streams in over 3 months since release. A lone bright spot came on December 16th, when eesmal’s BSBL Album reached #7 on the global dance charts on iTunes. Following BSBL Album, numerous tracks were signed to record labels, and even independent songs started gaining traction. His collaboration with hmemory, Moonlight, reached 1,000 streams in under a month, marking significant traction on his independently released music. Undercover also hit over 1,000 streams.
eesmal’s music is widespread in its influences but focused in nature. Pulling elements from metal, rock, folk, country, jazz, and pop, eesmal’s music is an eclectic blend of electronic dance music and old-school music. Emphasizing natural instruments, including guitars, strings, and brass, his heavy basses and catchy melodies stand strong with the backing of synth elements. Primarily a house producer, eesmal also dabbles in, and has signed, future bass and drum & bass tracks. He has collaborated with artists such as FRKY, Eli Patton, hmemory, and Jacob Shipley.
